graduation

To say this was a challenging year would be an understatement. Our first year as a tuition business was certainly full of obstacles and unforeseen circumstances ie COVID-19 pandemic. We are very thankful for all of our students throughout the year, especially during the peak of the pandemic in between March – May with their quick adaptation of online learning. We also hope our students benefited from our staff and tutors’ efforts and all of the year 12s achieve their desired ATAR scores in December. The academic journey is not over, it is just starting to get interesting! We wish all graduating year 12s success in their university life ahead.

Summary of our first year:

1. We successfully ran classes every Saturday as scheduled in 2020 – both online or in-person. We like to thank our tutors for being dedicated and punctual throughout the entire year!

2. We adapted to the online learning platform very quickly at the end of March with Google classroom and Zoom. Now we offer both options of tuition permanently so regional students can also benefit from our tuition.

3. A significant number of our students prefer private one-on-one sessions, those who prefer to learn at their own pace rather than attending classes with others.

4. Introduced the Advantage Club program for those who want all aspects of tuition catered for at a discounted package price.

5. Introduced Medicine & Dentistry interview preparation program with our co-director Dr Han Deng. It has been well received with students from interstate and overseas!

Some new things planned for 2021:

1. Private Maths and Science tuition for younger years (Year 10 and below) and for IB students of all levels

2. Private UCAT tuition – one on one sessions with past UCAT high achievers (>95 percentile)

3. Private English tuition for all year levels (to be confirmed)
